It’s the last bank holiday until August so be sure to make the most it! Our top tip for a laid-back and enjoyable day is to head down to The Orange Tree for their Orange Jam. The event runs from 3-6pm and you can soak up the sunshine (you’ve got to admire our optimism) in the garden whilst enjoying some fantastic live music from Leicester’s very own female Billy Bragg, Grace Petrie, just before she heads off to Glastonbury. She’ll be joined by Dylan-esque Gallery 47 and there’ll even be a BBQ so you can eat and soak up the alcohol.
