The Leicester Print Workshop is holding its 4th annual Print Festival on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November at their studio on St George Street.
Head down over the weekend to find perfect Christmas gifts, including original prints, cards and more in their Christmas shop. You’ll also be able to see the annual members’ show, watch a series of printmaking demos by Leicester Print Workshop artists, and even have a go at making your own print.
There’ll be free printmaking activities taking place all day on both days and you’ll also be able to find out information on the upcoming course programme, plus of course there’ll be refreshments and a few other Christmas surprises.
Workshops are suitable for printmakers of all ages and will take place at the following times:
Saturday 23rd November
11am – 12pm – Screenprinting
1pm – 2pm – Experimental Printmaking
3pm – 4pm – Intaglio Printmaking
Sunday 24th November
11am – 12pm – Monoprinting
1pm – 2pm – Relief Printing
3pm – 4pm – CMYK Screenprinting
