Do you or your little ones love visiting the zoo? Well grab a sleeping bag and tent because for the first time ever, Twycross Zoo is offering families a truly unique and exciting camping experience with its brand-new Safari Sleepover.

Taking place on Friday 30 August, you’ll be able to see the animals like never before with a torch-lit zoo tour before setting up camp and sleeping beneath the stars! You can also add on food and drinks into your package too.

Sleep just a few feet away from critically endangered Sumatran tigers, Jahly and Sialang and in true camping style, you can gather round to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate whilst hearing some spectacular stories, straight from the heart of the zoo.

Watch as the animals settle in to their evening routine, seeing what they get up to after dark, and children can also take part in animal tracking where they’ll team up with the zoo’s expert rangers and discover clues – putting their skills to the ultimate test in some super fun challenges!

Of course, one of the most important details of a sleepover is the breakfast! Campers will wake up to the sounds of the zoo’s most vocal residents, before tucking in to a breakfast bap and warm drink. The perfect preparation before packing up camp and enjoying your own day exploring the zoo.

Of course, Twycross Zoo is home to over 500 animals and is the only place in the UK with the four great apes – gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans and bonobos.

Tickets for this incredible Safari Sleepover are limited and sure to sell out very quickly so don’t miss out and book today for just £75 per ticket.
