Saturday 22 February sees the opening of The Railway Arms in Kibworth following extensive refurbishment.

The owners have added a beautiful beer garden to the back of the pub, which now makes them the only pub in the village to have one, we might add. But the changes aren’t just outside. The pub has had a full interior transformation as well but has managed to keep its personality in the form of old photos and features throughout the space.

True to its name, the owners have also added a number of railway features such as sleepers from the old station located just across the road.

The opening launch event is taking place on Saturday 22nd February with doors opening at 12pm. The pub also pride themselves on being very dog friendly and family oriented, so there’ll be activities for little ones throughout the day. Don’t worry if you’re a football fan, you’ll be able to enjoy Leicester City v Manchester City live at 5pm too as the pub will be showing sports across Sky Sports and BT Sport.

On their village location, the owner Sam commented, “Kibworth has welcomed myself and my son to their village and we feel very lucky to be apart of the community, lovely people who have given us a lovely reception.”

There’s just a little longer to wait before you can start enjoying their food menu, as this will be launching on 4 March. They’ll be offering light lunches and a main menu in the evening, as well as a carvery on both Sundays and Wednesday evenings.
