Pedestrian has been transforming young lives through creativity since 1998, and now you can get hands on involved with their next fundraiser event.
Taking place at the Pedestiran Hub on Horsehair Street, go and get your hands a little dirty as you sculpt and decorate your very own ceramics while sipping either a non-alcoholic or alcoholic drink! (Yes – your first one is included with your ticket and the donation bar will also be open).
Whether you’re flying solo, bringing a mate or making it a date night, everyone’s welcome! No experience needed! There will be a professional tutor on hand to guide you step-by-step through the process of shaping your piece and adding your personal touch. Once you’re done, she’ll take it back to the studio to fire it.
Tickets are priced at £25 per person and includes the workshop, your piece to take home and a your first drink included. There will also be a donation bar open. Sip & Sculp takes place on Friday 29 August. All attendees will also get FREE entry to Last Friday @ LCB Depot. Tickets are limited so please book here. Please note the event is 18+.
This fundraiser is part Pedestrian’s Our Big Build to create a vital hub for young people in the heart of Leicester—a space bursting with creativity, opportunity and inspiration to empower the next generation of artists, performers and creators.
The charity has been transforming young lives through creativity since 1998 providing education, outreach and training to children and young people (up to the age of 25) whom are at risk, often socially excluded, in challenging circumstances and experiencing disadvantages.
Every donation, big or small, brings them closer to opening the doors to 29 Horsefair Street, opposite Town Hall Square.
