See out summer with a BBQ on the terrace at Winstanley House on Bank Holiday Monday (29 August 2022).
Yes, the in house restaurant, Black Iron, is pulling out the stops for their Bank Holiday party, with BBQ menu, cocktails and DJ set on the terrace. The special BBQ menu will be served from 1.30pm – 6pm, with options including the Black Iron Burger, Maple Cured Hot Dog, Jerk Chicken Thighs and Halloumi Skewers. You can also add on Dirty Fries or Beef Dripping Fries, and grab all your toppings and sides from the open salad table.
With all meat supplied by their restaurant butcher, Aubrey Allen, the usual top Black Iron quality can be expected.
There’ll also be a special cocktail menu running with classics alongside Winstanley’s Own, including Winstanley Garden (Saint Germain, botanist gin, sugar syrup, apple juice & lime juice), Golden Negroni (Burleighs signature gin, triple sec, Campari & orange bitters) and Smoked Old Fashioned (Woodford Reserve whisky, maple syrup, orange & angostura bitters, finished with English breakfast tea).
The DJ set will be outside on the terrace from 3pm – 7pm providing the soundtrack to summer.
