The Coffee Counter

You probably know The Coffee Counter from their coffee shop on Bowling Green Street, but you can also get a taste of them at home. Demand for the coffee meant that they had to move the roastery out of the coffee shop itself, but they’re now based just down the road at Freeman’s Common. The biggest player locally, St Martin’s Coffee started life back in 2010 and has grown and grown. They’re dedicated to sourcing coffees of the highest quality from producers globally and look for coffees with character, complex flavour profiles and consistency. They’ve recently moved to a brand new site at Pennbury Farm in Great Glen, which houses their roastery, training school and even has on site accommodation.
