100&Six on Queens Road was one of our favourite new place in Leicester in 2019. Now, amidst the Coronavirus outbreak they’re choosing to back the community through their new take-out and delivery offering, including bottled cocktails.
Starting on Monday 23 March, the restaurant will be producing large tray bakes of some favourite comfort foods with their little 100&six twists. The dishes will come ready to serve 4-6 people and can be prepared as either ready to eat, bake at home or as a kit. Food is available to order Monday – Wednesday (check socials for the latest)
Keen to make this affordable to everyone, the dishes will be listed with a guide price but available on a “pay as you feel” basis. Furthermore, they’ll be giving up to 20% of the dishes away for free to those who are really struggling. Therefore, if you can afford to contribute more you’ll be helping to fund support for those more in need. As well as this they’ll be offering an ongoing 20% discount to NHS staff.
The menu will change daily and be available from 100&six on Facebook and Instagram. This week’s dishes include:
Monday: Broccoli & Stilton pasta bake • Chorizo Mac and Cheese
Tuesday: Fish pie • Tofu and Cauliflower curry and rice
Wednesday: Beef, wild mushroom and potato stroganoff • Banana Goan curry and rice
Daily dessert: Apple & Rhubarb crumble & ice cream
Safety is paramount with only one chef working at all times and all cleaning and social distancing measures adhered to. Food can be delivered to your doorstep between 5-6pm with a delivery range covering Clarendon Park, Stoneygate and Knighton as well as collection from an isolated table at 100&Six.
As well as the food delivery 100&six are also delivering you your favourite cocktails bottled and ready to pour. Yes, that is a bottle of Espresso Martini!! Cocktail, beer and wine delivery is also available at the weekend. All profits go towards supporting bartenders who are most in need.
