beerhouse micropub leicester market harborough
Time to head to the south east of Leicestershire for our latest micropub adventure, to the lovely market town of Market Harborough to visit a beer house aptly named Beerhouse.

This larger-sized micropub consists of three rooms; 1 main bar lounge and 2 smaller rooms, 1 of which could be used as a small function/meeting room. The main room has a couple of comfy sofas and also a piano for those who would like to play a few tunes. A wide selection of books are available for those keen to have a good read with their drink and outdoor seating is also available for when the weather is more pleasant (roll on summer!)

Beerhouse certainly lives up to its name when it comes to the beers available, with up to 12 cask ales on sale along with 4 keg beers and a wide range of bottled beers. If beer is not your tipple then don’t worry because a wide selection of ciders, wines (including sparkling), and soft drinks are also available, along with the usual array of bar snacks.

A number of regular events take place at Beerhouse including a weekly quiz night, as well as an acoustic night, book club and comedy club (all of these taking place once a month)

We certainly found Beerhouse to be a very welcoming micropub and a very welcome addition to Leicestershire’s real ale scene. If you are in Market Harborough and are looking for somewhere for a good pint then make sure that Beerhouse is on your pub crawl list.
