An excuse to drink lots of gin? What more needs to be said. The Gin Festival is back at Athena on 11 and 12 November and if last year’s fantastic event is anything to go by then we can’t wait. The event is now sold out but we’ve got tickets to give away over on our social media channels so keep reading!
The UK’s largest Gin Festival is rolling into Athena and will be showcasing more than 100 gins, exclusive gins, new brands, cocktails and masterclasses from industry experts!
On arrival, you will be handed your very own Gin Festival Copa Balloon Glass (yours to keep) and a brochure that tells you all about the range of different gins at the festival. The bars operate on a token system and don’t take cash so you will need tokens to get your drinks! Tokens are just £5 each with one token paying for a single measure of gin, garnish and a Fever-Tree mixer.
During the evening there’ll be live music and entertainment, talks from gin industry experts and there’ll be some delicious food on offer too.
You’ll even be able to buy and take home full bottles of some of your favourite gins once you’ve tasted them too.
There’ll be 3 sessions during the festival for you to take part in:
Friday 11th November – Evening Session – 6.30pm – 11pm
Saturday 12th November – Afternoon Session – 12.30pm – 5pm
Saturday 12th November – Evening Session – 6.30pm – 11pm
As we said tickets are now all but SOLD OUT, because let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to go to a Gin Festival?!
